The countdown for the highly anticipated OnePlus Ace 5 series has officially begun. With the smartphones expected to be unveiled today, the Chinese brand has ramped up its promotional activity, revealing several key features of the standard model.
OnePlus Reveals the Ace 5’s Battery Capacity
Just hours ahead of the launch, OnePlus disclosed the Ace 5’s battery specifications. According to an official promotional poster shared by the company, the smartphone will feature a 6,400 mAh battery. Despite its large battery capacity, the device will boast a thickness of just 8 mm, making it slimmer than its predecessor, which measured 8.8 mm.
According to earlier reports, the model will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. It will also offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a punch-hole design.
The standard model will be powered by last year’s flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It will come with 12/16 GB RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.
